Also part of the NatEnergy portfolio, Shabakat is the main subcontractor for NatEnergy subsidiaries and has been providing specialized turnkey contracting services for utility, electromechanical, transportation, gas distribution, power and infrastructure projects since its founding in 2008. Shabakat has an authorized capital of EGP 500 million and paid-in capital of EGP 25 million and employs a staff of nearly 1,200.
As a multi-disciplined contractor, Shabakat is a qualified solutions provider for projects involving tanks, pressure vessels, polyethylene or steel pipelines and other steel structures on a local and international level. Shabakat is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.
Shabakat also provides services outside the NatEnergy group, including recent contracts for concessions such as the Alexandria Nile Sugar Factory, Emaar Misr’s UpTown Cairo development, and the Suez Steel Factory, among others.
