EKH in Bid Over Gharbia Land Plot to Build Commercial Shopping Center

Egypt-Kuwait Holding is competing with Emar Al Delta and the US-based Vernbro Global investments for the usufruct of 82 feddans of land in the governorate of Gharbia that the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) designated for the construction of commercial shopping centers.

The announcement of the result of the bid is expected by Tuesday June 16. The Deputy Head of the ITDA said the Authority intends to establish shopping centers on self-owned land plots across several governorates in the near-term. In addition to that, the ITDA is in talks with various city authorities, attempting to allocate land for the establishment of logistical centers that would benefit different local communities.
